Fall Schedule 2024

Kundalini Yoga Fall Schedule is here!

Hello Friends and Fans of Kundalini Yoga!

I am delighted to present you my fall offerings. I will be teaching both online and in person. It is an ideal time to start a practice from scratch, or to return to practice after a break. I am feeling so much energy and enthusiasm for building a community of skill, practice and support related to Kundalini Yoga. I hope you can join me for one or even several classes per week.

I will eventually be launching a couple of 40 day Sadhanas this fall and also be opening up the opportunity to work with me 1:1.... so stay tuned for more good times.

In Service, Laughter and Love,
Anna

The Sunday Sanctuary Series is back! This is your commitment to regular yoga practice in community. Ranging from 6-10 weeks, these series are broadcast on zoom so that you will practice in your own home. We start each class with greetings and a brief check-in and then proceed to do a full Kundalini Yoga practice including tuning in, breath work, warm-up exercises, Kriya, deep relaxation to beautiful music and then meditation. Each week will have a theme that is based on attuning to the season and addressing real life topics that help to make us more resilient, peaceful and happy. If you have to miss the livestream class, the recording will be available to you later the same day. The entire course will be available for 3 months so that you can go back to your favorite classes again and again.

Tuesday Morning Early Bird Drop-in Class 6-7am * Starts 9/10
These weekly 60 minute classes are short and sweet!  They do everything we need before we start our days; connect us to our breath and our center and give us calm, stable vibrant energy. We will do all the normal aspects of a Kundalini Yoga class, just with a shorter time frame. Tune in, breath work, warm-ups, Kriya, relaxation and meditation.
This is made with the folks in mind that like or need an early morning practice. Everyone will love these shorties! Recordings will be shared later that same day and available through your Arketa login.

Other Special Workshops and Offerings
The Bone House: A Space of Group Wisdom for Women
In Person at Many Rivers Sundays or Fridays
Sunday Sept 29th 4-5:30
Friday, October 11th
Sunday, Nov 24th 4-5:30
Sunday, December 8th 4-5:30

The Bone House is a space of multi-age conversation, compassionate listening, learning, processing, sharing and support among women. You don’t have to be a yoga practitioner to join. In these talks we will sit in a circle, begin our session with a meditation and then proceed to address a given topic. Topics will proceed and develop month by month with a common thread being a women’s embodied experiences; including but not limited to creating spaces of trust, women's culture, life stages, creativity & identity. There will be a set of group agreements repeated at the beginning of each session to create an environment of safety. For each session the questions will be announced ahead of time. The sessions will traverse many deep topics and may at times be emotionally charged, so every session will end with a meditation to restore a peaceful feeling and to be able to integrate each person with their experience before leaving.
“We all begin as a bundle of bones lost somewhere in a desert, a dismantled skeleton that lies under the sand. It is our work to recover the parts. It is a painstaking process best done when the shadows are just right, for it takes much looking. La Loba indicates what we are to look for—the indestructible life force, the bones.”― Clarissa Pinkola Estés, Women Who Run With the Wolves: Myths and Stories of the Wild Woman Archetype

Gong Bath Workshops; Sound Healing With the Symphonic Gong
In Person at Many Rivers Fridays 5:30-7:30pm

September 20th
October 18th
November 15
December 13th

A Gong Bath Workshop is an invitation to deeply relax. These sessions have a very different tone than other Kundalini Yoga classes. We still tune in and prepare the body with breathwork and movement, but a much larger portion of the class is dedicated to the Yin state of deep relaxation, to the profound effect of sound. When the gong plays, you are absorbed in a bath of sound that vibrates your mind, body and every cell. It can take you to places in yourself, like a lucid dream, a place beyond your normal worries, fears and thought structures. A gong bath is a place to connect with your vision, to release heaviness, and to deeply renew yourself. We lead ourselves in slowly and lead ourselves out slowly with plenty of time to process and integrate after the experience. Many people experience a feeling that they’ve gone somewhere else and come back with bright eyes and a softer body and a renewed sense of self. A Gong Bath can provide a shift that can last for days, even weeks.
